Public education in the city of Greenfield is provided by two school systems, the Greenfield School District and the Whitnall School District. The Greenfield School District covers approximately 2/3 of the city. The Whitnall District serves the western third of Greenfield plus Hales Corners and part of Franklin. There are also many private and parochial schools.
