This book is one of my favorites. It's full of mystery and sorrow. It unfolds
the story of a boy who's finding out the truth behind a girl who committed
suicide. She helps him discover her through a set of cassette tapes. I recommend
this book to anyone who appreciates a good book.

Book Title: The Book Thief
Book Author: Markus Zusak
Review:
This was an interesting book. It is told by Death, which I think is a unique
perspective. It takes place during the Holocaust and tells the story of a girl
trying to survive her personal nightmares. Things get complicated when her
foster parents decide to hide a Jew whom she forms a bond with. It is kind of
sad and fun to read at the same time.

Anything by her is amazing! My favorites are The Truth About Forever and This
Lullaby. But all of them are definitely worth reading. If you've seen How to
Deal read Someone like You, the movie is based on it.

Book Title: The Canterbury Tales
Book Author: Geoffrey Chaucer
Review:
The title of this book may give you the impression of a boring homework
assignment, but in all actuality it is very interesting to observe what English
people wrote about in the 1400's. The way Chaucer goes about introducing each
character is quite different than you would read in any modern day book. The
overall theme of the tales that are told teach us obvious moral lessons, the
twist being that each character is very blunt with describing their sins.
Although I have not read all 20,000 lines of this exciting and humorous
adventure Chaucer takes us on, I plan to in the near future and recommend it to
you also!
