Summer Reading Challenge

Tween & Teen Summer Reading Challenge | June 1 - August 31

Readers going into 6 -12 grades can participate in our in-person reading challenge by registering at the Reference Desk or the Children's Desk or online through our Beanstack page.

In-Person: Come to the library to register for the Summer Reading Challenge and pick up a Bingo activity sheet. Each sheet contains fun activities involving reading, the library, community, and creativity. Get a straight line in any direction to earn a Bingo.

Online: Register and complete 5 reading-related activities and 5 other fun activities to earn virtual activity badges.

When you finish: Then become a library social media star! When you earn a Bingo (in-person) or an activity badge (online) send us something (email emilya@greenfieldwi.us) to post on social media to share your accomplishments and talents with other library lovers. We will list your name as your first name and last initial. If you are in a picture or the video, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to appear on the library’s social media accounts. The Greenfield Public Library reserves the right not to post content it deems inappropriate for its social media accounts.

Examples of what to send:

  • short book review of a book you read this summer and would recommend
  • picture or short video of you completing a Bingo square/activity badge
  • picture of something you created as part of completing a Bingo square/activity badge
  • short paragraph about something you did for Bingo/activity badge that you enjoyed
