Summer Reading Challenge Finishes Soon!
Time flies and soon we will be closing this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. Please make sure to turn in your logs at the Reference or Children’s desk by August 5th to get your raffle tickets. Thank you to everyone who participated and don’t forget to sign up for our Winter Reading Challenge later this year!

Please Donate Books, CDs, and DVDs for the October Book Sale
If you have books, music CDs, or DVDs that you no longer need, consider donating them to the library for our upcoming book sale later this fall. Your donations and purchase of other materials at the book sale help the library purchase new materials and provide programming for the benefit of the community.

If you are actively job searching, this assessment is an excellent tool to use for upgrading your resume, conducting powerful interviews, and showcasing your strengths. Hanna recommends, The Unlikely Tale of Chase and Finnegan by Jasmine Warga.
Two unlikely animal friends form a bond in a moving story about friendship. Chase is an orphaned cheetah who meets Finnegan, a rescue dog. Chase's trainer, Barma, is having trouble building the young cheetah's confidence. Finnegan becomes somewhat of an emotional support animal, guiding her along only how a fellow animal can. Thinking he's a "bad dog," Finnegan also gains confidence from helping Chase.
