Tween & Teen Anime Club [Ages 10-18]

Watch anime on our big screen, create anime-themed crafts, munch on Japanese snacks, and discuss all things anime with your friends! Registration is encouraged but not required.

Teen Paint Along [Ages 13-18]
Last Wednesday of the Month, 4:00-5:00 PM
April 30
Teens will paint their own work of art with step-by-step instructions and lots of room for creativity! All materials are provided, but dress in case of mess. Space is limited and registration is required. Register online here. Registration opens two weeks before the program.

Open Play Chess
First Thursday of the Month, 6:00-7:30 PM

Players of all skill ranges are welcome to play the classic game, chess. Feel free to use one of our sets or bring your own.
Take and Make Craft Kits
Second Thursday of the Month at 6:00 PM
May 8
Available on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, each kit contains supplies and instructions to complete a craft. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to two per person/household.

June 3: Canvas Chalkboards: Turn a regular canvas into a mini chalkboard using paint!
July 1: Mini Bookcases: Using tins, make your own bookcase using the covers of your favorite books!

Diamond Dot Painting [ages 12-18]
Tuesday, July 22, 6:00-7:00 PM
By using an applicator to place tiny “diamonds” on a canvas, tweens and teens can create sparkling works of art. Space is limited to 30 teens, and registration will open one week in advance at 9 am. Register online here. Registration opens one week before the program. Registration will close, and the link will be removed when registration is full. All supplies and tools provided. First come, first served. Unfortunately, due to cost and staffing capacity, we cannot increase the registration limit of 30 or offer a waiting list. This program is co-sponsored by the Southwest Suburban Health Department.
Toaster Oven Baking [ages 13-18]

Calling all aspiring bakers! Join us to make some treats and see what a toaster oven can do! Space is limited and registration is required. Register online here. Registration opens two weeks before the program.
