Reading is cool and Rev up Reading Programs available now!

The Greenfield Public Library has been selected to participate in the Reading is Cool and Rev Up to Read Programs, where kids can have the chance to earn a ticket for the Disney on Ice and the Monster Jam shows coming to town in early 2026! Below are more details about the programs:
- Kids can sign up for both the Disney on Ice and Monster Jam programs. Kids can read the same books for both.
- The programs are limited to kids ages 2-12.
- If kids read 5 books, they receive a free Kids Ticket with the purchase of a Full-Priced Adult Ticket.
- There is a limit of one free Kids Ticket, for each Full-Priced Adult Ticket, for each program.
- To earn a Disney on Ice ticket, families must fill out a Reading is Cool Card. The Card must be stamped 5 times by a librarian, once for each book the child reads alone or with an adult.
- To earn a Monster Jam ticket, families must fill out a Rev Up to Read Card. The Card must be stamped 5 times by a librarian, once for each book the child reads alone or with an adult.
- Once the Card or Cards have been completed, adults must exchange them in person at the Fiserv Forum Box Office to receive their free Kids Ticket.
- Disney on Ice shows take place at Fiserv Forum from Thursday, February 12 to Monday, February 16, 2026. Completed Cards can be exchanged only for these dates. The last day to turn in Reading is Cool Cards is February 16.
- The Monster Jam show takes place at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Cards can be exchanged only for this date. The last day to check in Rev Up to Read Cards is January 31.
Board games now available at the library!

Did you know the Greenfield Public Library offers a collection of board games for checkout? Our selection includes kid-friendly favorites like Hi Ho! Cherry-O, party games such as Sushi Go Party!, and classic strategy games like Catan.
Thanks to the Southwest Suburban Health Department for donating 10 new board games to our already robust circulating collection. New additions include Don’t Break the Ice, Rummikub, and Wingspan. We appreciate their partnership and support in expanding access to board games for the Greenfield community!

“Milwaukee’s Holiday Traditions” Talk

Wednesday, December 17, 6:30-7:30 PM
Do you remember the Milwaukee Holiday Parade, decorated windows Downtown, holiday lights and other local traditions? Let’s reminisce about the days of yore and how Milwaukee used to ring in the holiday season. Allow the Milwaukee Historical Society to take you down Candy Cane Lane and other holiday favorites from a joyous time in our city’s history.
Pigeon Party [All Ages]

Wednesday, December 10, 6:00-7:30 PM
Let’s celebrate one of our favorite book characters and meet Mo Willems’ The Pigeon! We’ll also have an interactive workshop provided by First Stage Theater.
KPop Demon Hunters Party [Ages 8-14]

Tuesday, December 30, 2:00-4:00 PM
Fans of the movie can come in costume, make crafts, sing karaoke, put on temporary tattoos, and more! This program is intended for ages 8-14 but all ages are welcome.
